Smital is a Registered Nurse with more than seven years of experience working in a variety of healthcare settings in both New Zealand and India, including general practice, emergency care, intensive care, maternity, aged care, mental health and medical-surgical nursing.

She has also worked as a Clinical Tutor, supporting and educating nursing students. Smital is currently studying at Auckland University of Technology to become a Designated Nurse Prescriber in Primary and Emergency Care.

She is passionate about providing safe, high-quality, patient-centred care and enjoys supporting people to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
