We are seeking an experienced clinician with a passion for supporting and leading healthcare clinicians in the provision of exceptional quality health care services. Someone who has strong clinical acumen, advanced service coordination and delivery skills, and enjoys seeing people succeed.
At Health New Lynn our mission is to provide quality healthcare that is accessible to the people of New Lynn and surrounding areas. We care for a community of around 19,000 patients from a wide and diverse range of cultures.
We are developing an interdisciplinary team based approach for service provision. We are keen to recruit a leader who can envisage the new team based model of care and is experienced in leading people through change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and leadership of the clinical staff including the nurses, health care assistants, and allied health professionals
- The coordination and integration of clinical services
- The management of the quality assurance and improvement processes within the clinic
- Relationship management:
- Health education providers and student experience
- PHO support team
- Oversight of the maintenance of the clinical environment and equipment
- Project development and management including programme documentation and budget management
- Serve as a mentor and resource for colleagues, providing guidance and support in the provision of primary care services
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the department.
Our successful applicant will:
- Be a
- New Zealand registered health professional with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Advanced user of Microsoft office applications
- Experienced working with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Have
- Current experience in New Zealand primary care sector
- Great assessment and problem solving skills
- Practice which aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi
- Proven quality improvement experience
- A relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
