We’re changing how we take notes

Updates

You might notice your GP using a little extra technology during your next appointment. We’ve introduced a new tool called Heidi Health, a secure, digital note-taking assistant that helps your GP capture the important parts of your conversation. Think of it as a helpful scribe, so your doctor doesn’t have to spend the whole time typing or scribbling notes while you’re talking.

What does this mean for you?

  • More face-to-face time with your doctor or healthcare provider
  • Less repeating yourself
  • A more accurate record of your visit.

What it is not:

  • It’s not replacing your doctor
  • It is not used to make decisions
  • And it is definitely not listening outside of your appointment.

Your GP is still in charge

Your GP always reviews and edits the notes to make sure everything is correct. If you would rather your GP not use Heidi during your appointment, that’s okay – just let your GP know.

Everything is private and secure, and your GP still reviews and approves everything before it goes into your record.

Why we’re doing this

We believe every patient should feel seen, heard, and cared for. By giving your GP more time with you and less time on paperwork, we’re making your healthcare more personal and connected.

Thank you for being part of our community. We’re here to care for you, every step of the way.
