Walk-in Clinic

Need to see a healthcare professional without an appointment? Health New Lynn offers unscheduled walk-in visits for all enrolled patients. You do not need an appointment to visit our walk-in clinic.

To improve access and manage wait times effectively, our walk-in clinic operates with a team-based care model that includes General Practitioners (GPs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Nurse Prescribers, and Registered Nurses on rotation.

Our Nurse Prescribers are highly trained to assess, diagnose, and treat patients within their clinical scope. This allows us to offer timely care for a wide range of health concerns. Patients requiring more complex or urgent medical attention, further investigations, or referrals will be seen by a GP or Nurse Practitioner.

Please note:
To ensure quality care and safety, we operate based on daily patient capacity. Once capacity is reached for a session, we may close early. We recommend arriving as early as possible to secure your spot in the queue.

Patients are seen on an urgency basis – there may be a wait, and you may not necessarily be seen in order of arrival.
