These clinics will be supported by our dedicated team of trained Nurses, Nurse Prescribers, Health Coaches, Health Improvement Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurse Practitioners. By working together, we aim to offer a truly holistic approach – ensuring you receive the right support, at the right time, from the right healthcare professional.

Asthma service
We know that managing long-term conditions like asthma can be challenging. Whether you’re struggling with symptoms, unsure about your inhaler technique, or simply need a regular check-in, we’re here to empower you with the tools you need to manage your asthma confidently.

- Personalised asthma reviews and care plans
- Inhaler education to ensure you’re using it correctly
- Lung function testing and peak flow monitoring
- Support identifying your asthma triggers and managing them
- Referrals to specialists, Asthma NZ, or other services if needed.

Healthy heart service
We are now offering FREE cardiovascular risk checks through this nurse-led clinic. Following your results, we will set you up with a health plan to support your next steps.
Please note that our Nurses are proactively contacting patients due for a heart check. If you are contacted, we highly recommend you book in for an appointment.

Free diabetes annual reviews & heart check available with a diabetes Nurse on Fridays.
Spirometry service
Concerned about your lungs? Whether you’re managing a chronic cough, shortness of breath, or just want peace of mind, spirometry testing is a quick, non-invasive way to check how well your lungs are functioning.
This service is ideal for:
- Those that often experience shortness of breath, chronic cough, or wheezing
- Smokers or ex-smokers concerned about their lung health
- People with a family history of respiratory conditions
- Those needing a lung function report for pre-employment, insurance, or medical clearance.
Cost for enrolled patients of Health New Lynn – $70
This service is also available to casual patients for $80. If you know someone who may benefit from this service, we welcome them to contact our reception team on 09 827 8888.
Kare clinic
The Kare Clinic programme is designed to help older adults stay well, stay independent, and stay connected. Our Kare Clinic focuses on early intervention, personalised care, and proactive health support. This service offers regular assessments and tailored care plans to help you manage your health and maintain your independence for as long as possible.

Kare clinic services are free for:
- People aged 75 and over
- Māori and Pacific people aged 65 and over

Baby immunisation – Te Pūtake Ora
From the very first check-up to the 12-month milestone, Te Pūtake Ora wraps around your whānau with care, knowledge, and connection. This journey includes regular check-ups for your baby, immunisations, developmental screening, mental health support for māmā, and guidance on everything from feeding, to sleep, to social support.
Your baby’s first year: what to expect:
- 0–6 weeks – wellbeing check for māmā and first appointments booked, baby enrollment
- 6 weeks – immunisation, nurse check, GP visit
- 3 months – immunisation and check-in
- 5 months – immunisation and check-in
- 12 months – final immunisation and health check

Ear suction service
Our experienced nurses offer microscopic and micro-suction ear wax removal, a safe and effective way to clear blocked ears. The procedure typically takes around 20 minutes and is suitable for most people experiencing symptoms of ear wax buildup, such as muffled hearing, discomfort, or ringing in the ears.
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Note: Please put 3 drops of slightly warmed olive oil into the affected ear twice a day for 3 days before seeing the ear nurse.
Nurse consultation fees apply – $65.00 for initial appointment and $35.00 for follow up appointments.
