Long acting reversible contraception (LARC)
We provide Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) consultations and procedures through our dedicated LARC clinic, which operates every Friday.
Prior to your procedure, you will have a consultation with a GP or Nurse to explore which option is best for you, ensuring safe, confidential, and high-quality contraceptive care. Services include:
- IUCD (Mirena) insertion & removal
- Jadelle insertion & removal
- Contraception consultations, including assessment, counselling, and suitability for LARC options.
Funding and fees
Please refer to our fees for consultation charges. Procedure charges are in addition to the consultation fee, and are as follows:

Some patients may be eligible for funding for LARC consultations and procedures. Please chat to your healthcare provider to find out if you may be eligible.
